20100130 (1) – Turned off the “break” title in panel one earlier this week. Unlike the previous back-and-forth on ‘trolls,’ keeping this bit would technically double up the ‘break’ section titles to include ‘break’ (beginning in the basement bathroom) and ‘break’ (being this page). While DCR pages are being listed as “chapter -number-” instead of by scene, I’d rather avoid the issue entirely… both on the website and inside the narrative.
Also faded the border on panel one and gradated it in panel two. This works with the changes made to the previous page and nicely augments the “high white” of panel one. Made a similar adjustment to panel ten.
Also also applied the rescript. It’s not massively different, but it’s Different Enough. With a few hints at technical details that were otherwise lacking.
20101225 – Original page metadata:
Return of the Ghost Ninja! More time on this page of DCR than any two pages of ATC! Exclamation!
=====================
2008.04.19 – It took some extensive munging about and a rerender or two, but the actual MBO-1 has replaced the mockup. Also changed the dialogue in panel two to reflect the fact that almost the exact same scene has just happened in Transitional Voices.
20101225 – Original strip metadata:
Strip 107, 20070903 –
BLAM.
Strip 108, 20070904 –
23 pages to get to TEH OVERPLAWTZ. Ph34r it. FEAR IT GOOD.
Strip 109, 20070905 –
DCR: covering more Critical Overplot in three strips than The Dualist did in 300 pages. Fear the compression.
Also, I’m out of cached goodies. Been going nuts with Silo.
07:25 <@john> solios_, so, um
07:25 <@john> how did DCR end up in space?
07:25 <@john> is that what a good blowjob does?
07:35 < solios_> john: yes.
Strip 110, 20070906 –
ALL GLORY TO THE RECYCLED GUY.
If you think I’m the first person to do that, you haven’t read The Invisibles. Or the comics section of any newspaper published in the last century.
One of the great things about sleeping noon to eight: I miss Apple introducing more features I’ll never use. They’ve been making a huge deal out of features I’ll never use for years now, but today is pretty over-the-top. I continue to drift out of their target market, and they’re making no effort to reel me back in.
Ultimately a good thing, as it means more money for other kit.
