20100130 (7) – Rewritten, with minor art tweaks and some post-scripting dialogue adjustment. I gotta make sure this page smells pretty – my tendency to Mention Important Stuff Only Once means an error here could have long-lasting repercussions. In this case the rescript has been revised from indicating that Whitehouse’s previous incarnation (Aleph) was running video to indicating that Aleph is some sort of psychic or clairvoyant or whatever.

And Aleph is. The extent that Whitehouse is with regards to the ship, the Dead Space Ninja, etc.

20101225 – Original page metadata:

So much foreshadowing. The foreshadowing, it burns.

=====================

2008.04.19 – Replaced the mockup MBO-1 with the actual MBO-1. It’s a good thing the ship is black, or I would have had to have spent a few days texturing it.

And now you have the nub of a plot spoiler. At my present production pace it’ll be a good six or seven years before anyone refers to this thing in dialogue. Frankly, that sucks. But them’s the breaks.

20101225 – Original strip metadata:

Strip 066, 20060705

Oh yes. Two hallucinations in one day!

Happily, I’m currently in a position where I’m staying slightly ahead of the “deadlines” – ATC pages usually take a couple of days of renders plus one solid night of working the lineart and lettering, whereas I can bang out at least two DCR strips in a day, if I feel like it.

Strip 067, 20060706

The Wednesday bit (and probably Finals) will be over shortly, fortunately – two more strips with a bit of a surprise for those who’ve been paying attention to my comics work for awhile. <3.

Strip 068, 20060707

No, that’s not Thad. Though there is a bit of a resemblance.

Brandon’s first appearance was seven months ago (and about forty years later) in this scene of ATC.

Strip 069, 20060708

With this strip, stacked at four strips per page, DCR is now (finally!) fourteen pages, or something like 1/12 complete. Maybe closer to 1/20 – it remains to be seen.

Mastering notes, 2016.12.05 – Minor adjustments to dialogue in panels five and seven.
