Panel layout has been reordered – it’s much more effective this way, I think. Also, Malky’s glasses have bows. Something they don’t for about the first half of the story, which makes it the craziest bit of continuity editing, by far.

Also, as per personal guidelines, this is the only time coke is mentioned explicitly – whenever the stuff is in a scene, it’s talked around or not mentioned at all. Explicit drug use is a thing that gave me absolute FITS during the first edition hardcopy formatting, and my lingering paranoia with regards to said is one of the reasons that file never made it out the door.

Malky’s got a “ring” around him, which isn’t readily visible on the webscale. I didn’t catch it until very late in the processing – too late for a cleanup to be quick and dirty. This is an issue that pervades the rest of the story and is caused largely by Photoshop 5.x being Photoshop 5.x. After using variants of CS (with its superior anti-aliasing) for awhile, it’s something that’s slipped my mind and something I’ll have to consciously keep an eye out for during future edits.
