A lightly and cheaply built interceptor similar to an F-16, Colonial Viper, or a Starfury, the Bodkin is an aggressively shaped configuration of RCS ports, cameras, rockets, beam weapons and projectile cannons built around a standing cockpit design and a GNOMES reactor. As part of the Astra air group, the Bodkin is used for patrol and escort duties, roles the Sabrosa fills with the more maintenance-intensive Banshee.

Development Notes: As appearances were limited and only long shots were planned, very minimal effort was put into texturing the Bodkin. In fact it has only two decals – an air group indicator and the Heirotus logo on the backside. It’s a pleasing shape that was fun to design; had ATC progressed it would have played more of a role than it ultimately did.
