Panels 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 have retained their original aspect ratios. The height has been filled with the new renders of 1 and 2. I started with the same CG file as the previous Daedalus and Cheops appearance, liked the lighting to the planet, put the camera where I wanted it for the ships and then spun the planet around to where they’d actually be at this point – off of South America, on the night side (near here, as it’s already Some Kind Of Daylight where Thad’s at). Not much different from the original renders (which were a huge improvement over the original photoshop), but consistent and a smidge prettier.
