2012 06 17, 04:34 – Inking and cleanup complete; flat colors and primary assembly after I sleep.

2012 06 18, 01:15 – Flat colors earlier and initial assembly roughly an hour ago. Had a roughly five and a half hour phone call with my dad for Father’s Day, and I’m feeling pretty exhausted – running my mouth for five hours straight plus Pittsburgh’s traditional clam chowder humidity… whew. Lazy Sunday, ready for shading.

2012 06 18, 16:59 – Critical chores complete, prepared to commence shading.

2012 06 18, 21:02 – Shading complete. Took my sweet time doing it, too. Thank you, soul-sucking humidity! The next page is technically more work, but it should go faster – some of the grind in this case was keeping the lighting on Jason and Greg consistent through the first five panels. Not that big of a deal on the next page, fortunately!

Also, pronouned the dialogue a bit.

2012 06 19, 01:26 – Minor pre-flight adjustments.

01:54 – Final cleanup consisted of flipping a layer group closed and tossing a lingering pen tool path. Reduces cleanly, and the last panel – the important bit! – looks pretty good.
