20141206, 04:05 – The edit of details -20- and -21- has spiraled out of control. Editing backgrounds to at least imply more Dodge Charger than used to be here. This involved moving the windshield in panel two, adding wing windows to panels two and four, and trimming the glass. It’s not awesome but it’s better than it was – while I was in there I trimmed some shitty pixels off of Ornix.

This makes a two page redraw and one page dialogue tweak a six page edit – two redraws, one dialogue edit, and three serious visual edits to sort out vehicle continuity. FOREVER!

20141207, 03:59 – Continuity edit: removal of name tag.

Second Edition Metadata

Reworked a bit, but still basically the same page. Removed the Vagtazo Halottkemek lyrics and logo from this page and the next. Great band – I still like ’em, a million internet years later – but I don’t own the lyrics and I didn’t ask, so out they go.

Let this particular aspect of the second edition be a lesson to anyone thinking of producing a for-hardcopy comic: if you take a halfassed attitude towards the IP of others, don’t be surprised if you feel like you’re spending most of your free time cleaning up after yourself.*

This is ultimately why PISSPOWERASSCHRIST exists.

* Admittedly, TD2E still has some referencing issues. But cleaning up type is a lot easier than cleaning up the artwork… given the lengths I’ve gone to in order to make sure the second edition dialogue remains editable, it’s actually easier now than it ever was!
