20141221, 13:48 – The Hemera edit. Reassembled and desaturated. Fiddled with the type a bit; matched the greyscale boxes to their appearance in Dead City Radio and changed “RECEIVED” to “SCHEDULED CONTACT,” which flows better with “NO CONTACT” in my opinion.

Shortest. Cameo. Ever.

A lesser eternity of modeling, texturing, animation (yeah, the centrifuge spins), and… two pages of medium long shots. For The Dualist, anyway – the ship lasts a bit longer in DCR.

Still, lots of work. Lots of work that’s emblematic of why production on TV and DCR has ground to a complete halt – weeks and weeks of CG for bits and pieces of short scenes…. the environments pay for themselves in terms of overall time saved, but the ships? Sometimes I wonder.

On the upside, I’ve learned enough over the years to have steered clear of modeling this one down to the rivets. :)

Oh, and an HRV is a Holt Rischmann Variance… or an AEI fluctuation, if you want to go oldschool.

Mastering notes, 2016.12.07 – HRV adjustments made in Dead City Radio have been applied here. No impact on plot, just a minor continuity adjustment.
