Harkening back to the heady incoherence of guide, the disjointedness of clarity, the end of suction, and the aftermath of details. Oh, and earlier bits of this Chapter, of course.
One of the funky problems with producing an ensemble epic at a snails pace is that threads take years to evolve into more than snips of fluff. The benefit of that is that I have those years to revise the framework and figure out exactly how things fit.
Greymalkin looks worse than Beef and Tantek thanks to a technical failure – I started inking with him, the micron I was using went from Firm to Skooshy almost immediately, and I followed through (just on him) for consistency. It looks fine on the web, but the quality difference is pretty obvious in the actual document.

1838 – Applied xeno’s recommended dialogue corrections to panel three and did what I could to fix Greymalkin’s face in panel five. It’s still wince-worthy, but much less so than it was a few hours ago.
Mastering notes, 2016.12.07 – Tweaked the last line of panel one.
