Due to ongoing maintenance issues with the seals in the neighboring Compartment A5, Compartment A4 functions as the primary airlock of the Daedalus.

Development Notes: Compartment A4 was modeled in November of 2007, at the same time as the Cargo Transfer Lock. While it wound up getting rather a lot more screen time than I’d anticipated, the level of detailing proved to be adequate. In fact, the glossary entry is the most detailed shot of the environment produced to date.
