The linework, cleanup, base coloring, and shading of panels 1-4 and the foreground of panel 5 was done yesterday and this morning. Sunday sucked – it started with a hangover and eased into a long, sludgy battle against the urge to crawl under my desk and pass out. An urge that didn’t go away until I woke up this morning. To keep it at bay, I sucked down an Upshot, trading continual sleep-sludge for a massive brain-wrenching anxiety attack that lasted about five hours. Around the peak, I figured sleep would be preferable to doing a shoddy job on the back of panel five, which is why the page is up tonight instead of this morning.
The next page is rendered and ready for linework – more linework than this page. I’ll be starting on it tonight. Normally this would mean a page tomorrow, but I have a ton of chores to do (laundry, namely), and my sister will be in town (and staying with me) Wednesday through I don’t know when. As such, the next page may not be up until early next week.
Given that it was a couple of months between 33 and 34, I don’t see that being much of a problem. :-)
