Kendra Pell
Templar · Revised 2012.10.01
Lieutenant Kendra Pell is a member of Kolg Saerai Lodge assigned to the Templar Space Mobility Command. SMC is equivalent to the USN Military Sealift Command or the USAF Air Mobility Command, making Kendra a glorified bus driver with a very long route.
Overseer
Entities · Revised 2012.09.01
Extra-terrestrial megafauna that spread humanity to the stars approximately 20,000 years ago. Presumed extinct.
A highly advanced organism capable of mass abstraction and biomagnetic transfer through Am, it is unknown if the Overseers evolved naturally or if they were genetically engineered. No living examples exist, and they have not been found in the fossil record - despite being present in cave paintings and ancient art on over a dozen human-colonized worlds.
The Overseers' stone age shopping spree is a key event in the history of the human race - one that nearly all non-Templar terrestrial humans are completely unaware of.
Michael West
Templar · Revised 2012.08.30
An exceptionally talented navigator and the father of John West.
The most talented navigator on the Heirotus payroll until he left the company in 1968, Michael was one of the first genetic contributors to the Addicaine program, and assisted in the early development of the BTS.
Michael joined the Templar ranks in the early 1970s, having attained the rank of VI° before being granted a Theater Rank of IX° following the founding of Thule Garrison. Co-founder Ivan Kursk assumed command after West succumbed to brain cancer in 1985.
Michael West is still officially considered "missing" by Heirotus, as is the ship and the crew that he disappeared with. There is no record of his presence in Colonial Authority space after 1971.

Which end is the front end is left as an exercise for the reader.
