Captain Helenna Spenc

Interstellar Cartography Group Captain and Commander, ICG Hemera.

Favoring a sedate, hands-off style of command and all but immune to the the mental stress of deep-range long duration cartographic deployments, Captain Spenc has made a career out of cat-herding the cartographers, engineers and technicians that typically crew ICG vessels. Being on loan to Heirotus has made her irritable, and she views the Addicaine group’s relentless, regimented approach to optimization and efficiency as a threat to her slow-and-easy command of the Hemera. Over the course of the cruise she’s developed a bi-polar personality – laid back with the ICG personnel and a total control freak with the Heirotus-assigned crew.

Doctor Helen Spinoza

A native of Helios, Doctor Spinoza is the only offworlder currently assigned to Thule Garrison. A neurologist with a specialty in psionic afflictions, the doctor is the only member of the garrison qualified to diagnose conditions most locals write off as insanity, mental illness or demonic possession.

Oru Sterling

One of four non-Ikon carbon computer hosts with formal flight training aboard the Sabrosa. When she’s not functioning in an intelligence-gathering capacity, she’s subconsciously processing communications, cryptography, intelligence analysis and medical imaging as part of the Sabrosa Network Cluster.

Sterling is a Majestic payload specialist.

Heinrich Von Lutz

Stuck with the worst roommate in recorded history, Heinrich doesn’t much care for Pittsburgh. He doesn’t mind the company, though – Heinrich plays Dunegons & Dragons with Curtis and discusses the mod scene, electronic music, and console emulation with Whitehouse.

Major Wakeman

Theo Wakeman transferred to Heirotus after an eighteen year stint as a drill instructor in Armed Services Division Three, ending his NCO career with a corporate cross-promotion. As XO of the Sabrosa Addicaine Group, Wakeman is very, very good at keeping grunts organized and motivated. He’s been grinding genetically engineered boys into genetically engineered fighting men since the N series was still in the gene sequencer.

Michael West

An exceptionally talented navigator and the father of John West.

The most talented navigator on the Heirotus payroll until he left the company in 1968, Michael was one of the first genetic contributors to the Addicaine program, and assisted in the early development of the BTS.

Michael joined the Templar ranks in the early 1970s, having attained the rank of VI ° before being granted a Theater Rank of IX ° following the founding of Thule Garrison. Co-founder Ivan Kursk assumed command after West succumbed to brain cancer in 1985.

Michael West is still officially considered “missing” by Heirotus, as is the ship and the crew that he disappeared with. There is no record of his presence in Colonial Authority space after 1971.
