Shame on you if you don't get the Deep Purple reference, and shame on me for just now remembering I need to eat this evening.
The Universe section now has basic entries for just about all CG vehicles. I left Ornix's car out, at least for now. The original plan had been to do detailed breakdowns of the spacecraft - orthographic renders, crew complement, weapons down to the caliber. Stats. Finally, it clicked that the site doesn't need that information, at least not yet. What it does need, and has needed for a couple of years now, is the damned vehicle entries up for you to read.
Some entries are wordy, some are terse. There's a couple of story nuggets in there, just to give you some incentive to read 'em all. I would have liked to have Gone Deep on a few, but this works for now. It's a hell of a lot better than the vast field of nothing that's been taunting me since I laid in the Universe categories forever ago. It's not what I'd consider optimal, but if I go for optimal I'll just keep putting it off in favor of doing pages.
Good enough is Good Enough™.
In unrelated news, I stomped around and did photo-recon for DCR4 scene 1 today. It probably would have turned into a fullblown shoot if my camera hadn't reminded me that I haven't charged it since right before the shoot for DCR3. So, I should be doing that tomorrow. I hope. It's gonna be hot and I'm fine with that. If the weather is anything like it was today, I should be able to get some nice shots.... which will translate into pages, hopefully soon!
But sooner than that.... dinner! To the microwave, Batman!
