Emily Ashton

The youngest Templar in the Terran ranks, Emily’s first “real” assignment is a doozy – as a “deep cover” observer tasked to fulfill the Waking God Protocols, Emily finds herself living the complicated double life of a Secret Agent Art Student!

Jesse Baris

The older and more experienced of the two agents assigned observational duties in Pittsburgh, Jesse has specialized in Remote Viewing and intuitive information gathering – skills that are particularly useful in the target-rich swamp of teen angst that is Allegheny Center.

Tantek Cestric

A former United States Army Ranger, Tantek has been with Thule Garrison since the Waking God Protocols field trials of the mid 1990s. He works well with Raven Lockheart, typically functioning as muscle though he can step up and be diplomatic if Raven’s attitude isn’t winning the hearts and minds. As one of Greymalkin’s “troubleshooters,” Tantek exists outside of the defined Templar hierarchy, and has the authority to co-opt and utilize any regional Templar resources available in the service of whatever mission he’s assigned to.

He’s also good with a sword.

Rayne Gallahad

A distant cousin of Thad’s, Rayne is Spinoza’s assistant, and the only Templar who’s been able to figure out the ancient BMRI hardware installed in BMC’s psionics observation ward.

Rayne is a POG, preferring technical and administrative support work to field assignments. He’s also a big fan of PISSPOWERASSCHRIST.

Bartholomew Gant

A genetically engineered black-ops metahuman similar to Beef Knuckelback and directly related by gene sequencing. Gant is just as taciturn as Beef, though he doesn’t share his chronic life allergy. He also lacks Beef’s interest in firearms, though he more than makes up for it with a flair for deep flesh body piercing and a knack for putting his ETL-enhanced physique to graphic effect.

Ryan Harmon

The operations officer aboard the Cheops– quite possibly one of the most boring paramilitary jobs anywhere. You sit around, play video games, download porn, and occasionally strip down and check over the sensor hardware when it detects a blip- ‘cuz when you’re this far out, a blip on the sweep just has to be a malfunction.

Michael King

A qualified helicopter pilot and dedicated gin enthusiast, King divvies up his time between gin consumption, the occasional flight, and “tactical adjustment” of various Templar agent documents, identity papers, and photographs.

Balthazar Kowalski

Mentioned only by name, Kowalski is Greymalkin’s long-suffering Deputy of Operations, tasked with the day-to-day paperwork and legal requirements of a secret interplanetary militia operating under the nose of Terran authorities. A lawyer by trade, Kowalski is also tasked with the “translation” of Templar cover stories and the substantiation of the “background” and working credentials of offworld and pocket universe Templar assigned to Thule Garrison.

Ivan Kursk (Greymalkin)

A former Soviet military officer, Greymalkin disappeared in southeast Asia in the spring of 1968. He surfaced in late 1969 as an adviser and fixer for Michael West, succeeding West as head of Thule Garrison upon West’s death in 1985. Greymalkin was instrumental in establishing a Templar presence on Earth, a task made somewhat easier by his connections in the American and Russian intelligence communites.

Greymalkin is Defender of the Earth, protecting his charge from all comers with the assistance of a one-ship fleet and a world-wide ground force that’s barely company strength.

Templar Rank : VIII °, considered to have a IX ° Theater Rank – loosely, a Colonel with the responsibilities of a General.

Born 1940, making him 57 during the events of Dead City Radio, and 61 or 62 during The Dualist.

Judas Lang

A renowned psychometrist with years of experience working for the court system, Judas Lang was been contracted by Heirotus founder Brandon James to perform a “read” of the stellar artifact known as MBO-2. Some time after that, Lang resigned from Heirotus, founded Expert Technologies, and took control of the Templar.

Tall, arthritic, and weird before his encounter with MBO-2, Lang is as eccentric as he is wealthy. Obsessed with events recalled from the Aeon flight data recorder, he is considered a lunatic by just about everyone outside of Heirotus, ETL and Templar upper management.

Tony Lipschitz

Tony was working third shift in the BMC psych ward when one of his charges blew out the HRD on his desk and disappeared.

Raven Lockheart

A South Jersey punk with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Templar-forged Master’s degree for field work, Raven posed as a high school guidance councillor during the early stages of the Waking God Protocols. She quickly tired of the assignment and transferred to field work, where she does the same thing without the dress code or the whiny teenagers.

Between Dead City Radio and The Dualist, Raven dropped about a hundred pounds and started partnering with Tantek.

Aleksis Murnau

One of several resident psychotherapists at Bethlehem Medical Centre. A trained psionicist with a specialty in stealth spelunking and event recovery, Murnau can poke around the average mind without raising much of a ruckus. This is a nearly moot point, as any sort of probing requires physical contact with the target… but in some cases, her capabilities are an invaluable contribution to the therapeutic and intelligence gathering mission of the Templar.

Aleksis is trained in the use of a Cycom sensory output harness- a device that uses a carbon computer to visualize the optical and aural processing centers of the brain. This hardware complements her psionic abilities by enabling anyone with the proper equipment to literally see the thought processes of another individual.

Inga Murnau

The twin sister of fellow Templar Aleksis Murnau, Inga has been assigned to the Castores by way of Kaysoo. While Inga has all of the qualifications required for language work she’s not aboard ship as a linguist – her official assignment is the achievement of natural fluency in Rhodhe and pidgin fluency in a number of other languages spoken by the crew, with the long term goal of improving linguistic induction of Rhdohe to English speakers and English to Rhodhe speakers.

Jason Polaski

Commander of the Cheops, one of a small handful of veil-capable Templar vessels in Earth’s neck of the woods. Polaski is known to have a deep love of explosives- his interest in ordnance drove him from a post-military career as a landscaper into the Templar at an early age, where he served with John West some time prior to West’s resignation in 1997.

Doctor Helen Spinoza

A native of Helios, Doctor Spinoza is the only offworlder currently assigned to Thule Garrison. A neurologist with a specialty in psionic afflictions, the doctor is the only member of the garrison qualified to diagnose conditions most locals write off as insanity, mental illness or demonic possession.

Sven

Sven figured working as an orderly in a pocket-universe mental hospital would be a nice, quiet way to pay for college.

Boy was he wrong.
